Rye Express EP
First ep of the duo Migaslive for Not Play Records. Created entirely in the study of
artists in Peckham one of the liveliest neighborhoods in south west London. In it we can appreciate
his great influence on live techno, a format in which the clubs of the British city visit and
his love for synthesizers, drum machines and other analog paraphernalia. Named as
tribute to a local grocery store with the same name which artists frequent in
his comings and goings to the studio. This album strongly oriented to the dance floor collects the most
varied influences of its creators.

A1 Rye Express
First cut of the homonymous Ep. A theme focused on the dance floor that evolves drinking from
many styles, characterized by acid techno with a strong trance influence on the
instrumentation and a certain air house in the percussive part. We can appreciate here its strong roots
90s.

A2 Muted Whistles
Second cut of this Ep in which the darkest faces of the artists can be seen at the same
time to remain somewhat sober and restrained. This is still techno and mechanical,
tries to somehow get closer to the organic too, since it was recorded in real time in great
starts and maintains that human feeling despite the perfection of the machines.

B1 The Casualty
The third track on this album leaves no one indifferent. A strange mix of styles that does not pass
unnoticed and that removed artists from their comfort zone during the creative process giving rise
to experimentation. Rhythmically based on cutting-edge techno, it allows us to glimpse certain
elements from other widely disparate styles, such as synth-pop voices, frequency modulated melodies, or
the bass line itself coming from the vocals with less conventional techniques.

B2 The Casualty Hard Revision
Fourth and last cut of this ep in the form of its own remix. A tribute to modern techno and
hardest trance of years ago, highly influenced by the Unfold parties in the now mythical club
Londoner Fold and the re-emerging rave culture. A theme where artists unleash their
energy remembering at the same time the love for its musical roots.

Rye Express EP
Primer ep del duo Migaslive para Not Play Records. Creado en su totalidad en el estudio de los
artistas en Peckham uno de los barrios mas vivos en el suroeste de Londres. En el podemos apreciar
su gran influencia por el techno en directo, formato en el cual visitan los clubs de la ciudad britona y
su amor por los sintetizadores, cajas de ritmos y demas parafernalia analogica. Nombrado como
homenage a una tienda local de alimentacion con el mismo nombre la cual los artistas frecuentan en
sus idas y venidas al estudio. Este disco fuertemente orientado a la pista de baile recoje las mas
variadas influencias de sus creadores.

Primer corte del Ep homonimo. Un tema enfocado a la pista de baile que evoluciona bebiendo de
muchos estilos, caracterizado por el acid techno con una fuerte influencia trance en la
instrumentacion y cierto aire house en la parte percusiva. Podemos apreciar aqui sus fuertes raices
noventeras.

A2 Muted Whistles
Segundo corte de este Ep en el cual se pueden apreciar las caras mas oscuras de los artistas al mismo
tiempo de mantenerse de alguna manera sobrio y comedido. Este aun siendo techno y mecanico,
intenta de algun modo acercarnos a lo organico tambien, ya que fue grabado en tiempo real en gran
parte y mantiene ese feeling humano a pesar de la perfeccion de las maquinas.

B1 The Casualty
El tercer track de este disco no deja a nadie indiferente. Una extrana mezcla de estilos que no pasa
desapercibida y que saco a los artistas de su zona de confort durante el proceso creative dando lugar
a la experimentacion. Ritmicamente basado en el techno de vanguardia, nos deja entrever ciertos
elementos de otros estilos muy dispares, como voces synth-pop, melodias de frecuencia modulada o
la propia linea de bajo saliendo desde las voces con tecnicas menos convencionales.

B2 The Casualty Hard Revision
Cuarto y ultimo corte de este ep en forma de remezcla propia. Un homenage al techno moderno y al
trance mas duro de anos atras, altamente influenciado por las fiestas Unfold en el ya mitico club
londinense Fold y la cultura rave re-emergente. Un tema donde los artistas dan rienda suelta a su
energia recordando al mismo tiempo el amor por sus raices musicales.
